Alarmed by Math — Privacy Policy

Alarmed by Math ("the app") is an alarm clock that makes you solve math problems to turn off the alarm. We built it to respect your privacy: the app keeps your data on your device and doesn't run any servers of our own.

What we collect

Nothing leaves your device. We don't collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information. The app has no accounts, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and makes no network calls to us.

Data the app stores on your device

• Your alarms and settings (times, labels, difficulty, repeat days, sounds, and statistics) are stored locally on your device.
• Your chosen solve song. If you pick a song from your music library for the optional Premium "solve soundtrack," the app stores a reference to that song on your device so it can play while you solve the alarm. The app reads your music library only to let you choose and play a song; it never uploads or copies your music anywhere.

Permissions the app may ask for

• Alarms & Notifications so your alarm can wake you.
• Apple Music / Media Library (optional, Premium only) so you can pick a song to play while solving the alarm.

Purchases

Premium is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. We don't see or store your payment details. Apple handles the transaction and tells the app whether Premium is unlocked. Apple's handling of purchases is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Children

The app doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the app handles data, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date above.
